The Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo is a 501c3 non-profit corporation, founded in 1948.
The purpose of the Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo is to provide a quality event for the community in a safe and comfortable environment. The event will promote public education related to our agricultural heritage, seek quality family-oriented entertainment and activities, encourage youth and community participation and promote commercial opportunities recognizing the vast cultural diversity of our community.
The Benton Franklin Fair Association produces the annual bi-county Benton Franklin Fair, an area fair as designated by RCW 15.76.120: (1) “Area fairs"—those not under the jurisdiction of boards of county commissioners; organized to serve an area larger than one county, having both open and junior participation, and having an extensive diversification of classes, displays and exhibits.”
Youth development is a large part of our mission, working with 4-H, FFA and other youth groups at the annual event and through a scholarship program.
It is a tall order to fill and something we’ve been proud to do for the past 60 years.
